Don’t always regard rest as a waste of time. Delaying rest for too long might dramatically hurt your productivity. Sometimes taking a break for a while is the best thing you can do.

Fights are not a normal thing in any healthy relationship.
You only get what you expect. Why do you keep considering domestic fights with a partner or a spouse (even when nonviolent) to be a normal thing that inevitably happens in all households frequently or every now and then between all married couples on earth? Why are you putting up with this?
Raise your standards!
Time management isn’t about saying yes or no to invitations. It’s about making you more able to reach certain goals and outcomes.
Unless you have definite goals, it will be impossible for you to manage your time effectively. There are certain things in life that give us reward. The rest doesn’t do us any favors except tiring us up. Any other thing just increases our fatigue, makes us more hopeless, uninterested, or exhausted. You don’t have anhedonia, you have only a few things or options to do to change the situation positively. Anything else will be deemed a distraction and a waste of time. It is preposterous and absurd to get any pleasure from stuff that if you kept on doing forever you will end up exactly where you are at the moment, stuck with the same problems and in the same circumstances or situation that you are in right now, without any progress. Anything that doesn’t fall under that category of the things that can potentially make things better for you, will be considered to be stuff that is against you. If you are in a normal life situation, it will be up to you to pick whatever you want to do today, according to what you feel or what will make you feel good for example. But if you are trapped, and you have only one way out, then you will have no choice but to pick from the available options in front of you that can get you out of this mess or trap. There’s only one solution. TV is not one of them.
Don’t be your own worst critic. Don’t be the one who judges you the most.
One of the worst things about getting judged is when you actually believe that what they’re saying is accurate or true. Is when you agree with what they say about you. Is when you have a negative view of yourself. When you actually volunteer to make the judgment or criticism of you. When you really believe you’re bad, and you start being afraid to speak or express yourself because of the negative view you have here of yourself. That is worse than hate comments. It is not up to them or anybody else other than you to decide whether or not you should continue doing what you want. You do not need their permission. And you don’t have to be good to keep doing what you want. You don’t have to meet their standards of what should pass as good enough for you to be allowed to continue doing what you chose to do. You are talking because you have something to say and you decided to say it, not because they will like it. Don’t be your own worst critic. Don’t judge yourself too much. Focus on producing more, not on making no mistakes in what you’ve already produced. Move on fast. Focus on the current or the next task, project, or piece of content. The overwhelming majority of those who are criticizing you are too bad to be qualified to criticize anyone or anything ever. Don’t let a bunch of noobs stop you.
Just because someone hates you doesn’t mean they also hate themselves or that they have ever suffered or felt bad in their lives.
I only find the people hating me loving themselves too much to the extent that they cannot accept the existence of someone better than them at anything.
So no, those who hate us aren’t always people who originally hate themselves, and their hatred of others is just a reflection of their own hatred of themselves.
Don’t wait for the whole world to validate or accept you first before you start to validate or accept yourself.
You’re afraid because you think the whole world would reject you because you’re different. Instead, you should be okay even if there was no one else like you out there to make you feel validated.
Sometimes the idea itself does not get created until you give it enough space or the right outlet to express it in full detail.
One thing unique to blogging is that you get to speak your mind in full detail without rushing yourself like in other forms of content or on social media.
We love it even if it has no audience. Even if it doesn’t “work”. It makes us clear our minds and discover and create stuff, and that’s enough.
I’m not undermining social media at all, but sometimes the thoughts don’t get generated at all in the first place unless we provide them with enough space to be fully expressed.
Don’t diminish your number of sleep hours in the name of productivity or being successful. Sleep every day until fully rested.
If you do not recharge your body enough every day, you’ll adapt to that low level of energy you have by picking up tasks that are matching that low level of energy. That is, you will aim for or choose easy tasks that do not necessarily lead you anywhere, because you’re already too tired to choose more difficult or energy demanding tasks. Remember how many things you didn’t do although you had the motivation just because you were too tired to do them.
Important point to note. If you are having trouble sleeping, it might be because you aren’t working hard enough when you’re awake.
Remember: It’s not about how long you sleep, but it’s about being fully recovered and recharged when you wake up. Always sleep until fully rested, no matter how long that takes. Only wake up when you feel you can no longer sleep, and can do anything after you wake up.
Sleep is great, but it’s not the only thing that you need to recover and recharge. There’s also pure resting sessions, regeneration sessions, and meditation. These other mechanisms are only performed when you’re awake. In rest you simply do nothing at all. In regeneration you do something that does not qualify or cannot be described as work. In meditation you give yourself a clearance to think about anything uninterrupted.
You are enough. That’s the meaning of life.
Eliminate the idea of getting rid of yourself.
You are not the problem. That should never be an option, no matter how low you feel. That is not a course of action that you take under any circumstance. Even if you feel everybody thinks that this is what you should do to or with yourself. To hell with what they all think. You will live anyway even if life sucks infinitely to you more than anybody else who has ever lived.
Your existence in this world is not the problem. Nothing will be solved by your absence from this life. Nothing will be better if you weren’t here. The world wouldn’t be better off in case you don’t exist. It’s great to have a higher meaning for life. A higher purpose. A calling. It’s awesome to be passionate about many things in life. It’s great to find what you’re really or most passionate about in this life. But the lack of these things doesn’t mean that you failed and you shouldn’t try to keep existing. It doesn’t mean that there’s no reason for you to keep living.
Stop looking for a purpose to justify your existence. Your mere existence is more than enough. Life doesn’t have to have any meaning beyond that. There should be a normal that is okay and fine that you value aside from the fact that you’ve reached the best in this world yet or not. It’s not all or none!
You should meditate every day even if you don’t feel tired or unable to do anything.
No matter how many hours you sleep, you still need to meditate every day. Meditation is also needed for reasons other than resting. Like processing for example. It should be performed daily even if you’ve slept for 12 hours!
Don’t wait until you’re tired to start meditating. Do it like it’s physical exercise, something that is done for its positive short and long term benefits, not a resting mechanism or an opportunity to unplug from technology.
