Your parents aren’t your God. And you are not their slave or piece of property. You are free to do what you want.

You are not a piece of property and you don’t owe anybody anything. Stay true to yourself.

Do not do something to please your parents aside from giving them money. They are capable of ruining your life and society’s norm gives them all the corrupt strategies to legally do that.

Do not ruin your life by following the commands or orders of your parents, or by trying to please them or not make them upset with you or disappointed at you every step of the way.

Grow up. You’re supposed to no longer be a child now, so stop thinking and acting like one.

You are your own boss, king, master, and God. Do not let anyone take that away from you no matter the cost.

Don’t give up on your goals so easily, but at the same time be flexible about how you intend to get to them.

Switching goals randomly every now and then will make you end up nowhere.
Change the plans or the methods by which you approach the goals. That’s called flexibility. Do it frequently even if that method switching was unnecessary. But don’t change the goals. That’s called giving up, settling for less, or weakness. Add to them and postpone those that the pursuit of which may be holding you back right now or in the macro.

Size matters.

I think if you have something that big that you want to say, then it belongs to locations of pillar content, where people are willing to spend as long as it takes to get all the details needed. Whereas on social media the intent should be to not make anything take long, but to still provide value in as concise manner as you could. People come to social media for instant gratification of reward from multiple sources. They kind of relax or unplug through making it easy for their brains to reach something that counts as a distinct result or outcome without having to work so long or so hard for it. Don’t make that harder for them. Give them the cookie. And if they want more, they could dive deeper through consuming pillar or more detailed or in depth content of yours.

Raise your standards.

You’ve got to desire to have a better quality of life. You will not have the energy, motivation, interest, or enthusiasm to do anything that is not essential for survival unless you generate a burning desire to enjoy a better quality of life that you can still survive without. You have to understand that this process is not the formula for success. You can still succeed in its absence if you do what it takes to succeed without caring about living a better life. If you solve virtually all your problems by making more money for example, even if you became a successful multimillionaire, you may still have covered the survival aspects of success or your needs only. It doesn’t mean you want a life beyond what is necessary, beyond what if missing, you’ll begin to suffer. Only when you induce an ambition for a better level of life that you do not essentially need, will you be able to generate energy for things that the absence of which will not necessarily make you miserable.
