The only reason no one bothers trying to help narcissistic abuse survivors despite knowing everything going on behind closed doors is because it’s a systemic issue where they’re all watching and doing nothing. As long as it’s not domestic physical violence or sexual assault, why should they care? This is why we always assume people who dismiss it this way to be partners in the crime.
