I realized recently that every time I spent every penny in my pocket back in my twenties was because of hopelessness and thinking that it is pointless to try to save any money if I’m not making millions every month. It’s shocking when you sit back and imagine the amount of money wasted, not well spent on stuff you enjoy and really want, even if it’s not an investment, but instead, just blown away by the spirit of not giving a damn anymore, and that if you exercised self control a little bit, I would’ve amassed hundreds of thousands by this age. It’s unbelievable. I just hope others don’t make the same mistake. Money is more important than most people think. We shouldn’t treat it as something expendable that much.
