You’re not reluctant to start because you’re a perfectionist.

This is just the panic associated with talking to the whole world. Just get started. The more you practice and put out into the world, the more it will be something that comes naturally to you, and something that you don’t panic because of.

Notice that it is not just perfectionism that is making you hesitate here before putting out pillar content on YouTube or podcast. It’s talking to the whole world. It puts you under pressure and stress. The more videos or podcast episodes you make, the lesser that stress or pressure will be.

There’s nothing wrong with you. It’s all them. The problem is almost always external.

There’s nothing wrong with your mindset. It’s your environment, conditions, and circumstances, that are holding you back, making you miserable, draining your energy, and/or making you feel hopeless. Change or fix them, and your mindset and perspectives will fix themselves automatically as a result. But what about those ultra rich or successful people who are depressed? It’s still not their mindset. Some underlying problems might be responsible for them being like that. If they try to solve these particular problems with real life results and strategies that make a difference in the external real world, their depression might go away, and then their mindset will become more positive on its own. Trying to give up on solving or fixing these issues by being happy anyway through manipulating our mindsets with delusional detached from reality thinking, perspective, or mindset will not get us anywhere in terms of intelligence, a better quality of life, or addressing conditions like depression that doesn’t get better by treatment. Again, mindset is supposed to be a reflection of your reality, not something that alters your reality or your perception of the real world. Do not believe for a second that the answer is not in fixing, modifying, changing, improving, or making a difference in something that exists outside of your mind in the real world, environment, conditions, and/or circumstances that you find yourself in, or that you are stuck in.

Your parents aren’t your God. And you are not their slave or piece of property. You are free to do what you want.

You are not a piece of property and you don’t owe anybody anything. Stay true to yourself.

Do not do something to please your parents aside from giving them money. They are capable of ruining your life and society’s norm gives them all the corrupt strategies to legally do that.

Do not ruin your life by following the commands or orders of your parents, or by trying to please them or not make them upset with you or disappointed at you every step of the way.

Grow up. You’re supposed to no longer be a child now, so stop thinking and acting like one.

You are your own boss, king, master, and God. Do not let anyone take that away from you no matter the cost.

Don’t give up on your goals so easily, but at the same time be flexible about how you intend to get to them.

Switching goals randomly every now and then will make you end up nowhere.
Change the plans or the methods by which you approach the goals. That’s called flexibility. Do it frequently even if that method switching was unnecessary. But don’t change the goals. That’s called giving up, settling for less, or weakness. Add to them and postpone those that the pursuit of which may be holding you back right now or in the macro.

Size matters.

I think if you have something that big that you want to say, then it belongs to locations of pillar content, where people are willing to spend as long as it takes to get all the details needed. Whereas on social media the intent should be to not make anything take long, but to still provide value in as concise manner as you could. People come to social media for instant gratification of reward from multiple sources. They kind of relax or unplug through making it easy for their brains to reach something that counts as a distinct result or outcome without having to work so long or so hard for it. Don’t make that harder for them. Give them the cookie. And if they want more, they could dive deeper through consuming pillar or more detailed or in depth content of yours.

Raise your standards.

You’ve got to desire to have a better quality of life. You will not have the energy, motivation, interest, or enthusiasm to do anything that is not essential for survival unless you generate a burning desire to enjoy a better quality of life that you can still survive without. You have to understand that this process is not the formula for success. You can still succeed in its absence if you do what it takes to succeed without caring about living a better life. If you solve virtually all your problems by making more money for example, even if you became a successful multimillionaire, you may still have covered the survival aspects of success or your needs only. It doesn’t mean you want a life beyond what is necessary, beyond what if missing, you’ll begin to suffer. Only when you induce an ambition for a better level of life that you do not essentially need, will you be able to generate energy for things that the absence of which will not necessarily make you miserable.

You are letting them hurt you because you are not considering yourself important enough.

Stop giving consent or permission to people to abuse you or drain your energy. You are important!

A few unrelated thoughts:

Happiness becomes attainable only after your brain is convinced that you are safe.

Do what suits you. Find the right person for you. Take your time. Don’t let anyone pressure you into changing your standards.

Sometimes even the most sincere of apologies has no effect.

Pick happiness over money. It’s not about how much money you make. It’s about how you make money or how you make that money.

Don’t be a dumpster for other people’s negative emotions.

I used to walk into a room and wonder if they will like me. Now I wonder if I will like them.

Do the world a favor and believe in your greatness. Stop being lesser than you’re capable of. Don’t be ashamed of being special or unique.

I will not apologize for being who I am. It is you who should apologize for asking me to be a fake version of myself.

Exactly. Be unapologetically you! Don’t adjust your character to avoid rejection by people who don’t even care you exist.

Loving what you do is human. Doing what you love is divine.

It’s time you took that following your passion thing more seriously.

Following your passion isn’t a luxury as it used to be. People are too many now, and they are competing with each other at virtually everything. If you are not phenomenally amazing at what you do, the competition will sweep you away like dust. You will become irrelevant in no time. This isn’t to discourage you at all. This is just a wake up call for you to stop doing what you hate to barely make a living, because what you hate will very likely be something that countless other people love doing or have no problem at all with doing it all the time for the same amount of money and recognition you get for it, so why bother. Unless you can stand doing what you’re doing for scary long amounts of time every day you won’t stand a chance. If it’s not your passion then at least make sure you’d rather do this all day long than any other choice. This is for a simple reason. Success in the past was too easy. Now it’s unfairly and unreasonably too difficult. If you are not able to tolerate long working hours in something, you will be cast aside by someone who is happily more willing to put in more work in that thing or that field than you normally do or can take or tolerate, and they will easily win you not because they outsmarted you, but because they just outworked you. Yes we know that we should work smart but not hard, but nowadays, it has become a necessity to work both smart and hard. Yes I understand that you don’t have to work all the time to be happy because money isn’t everything, but if you don’t love what you do enough, you will very easily fail at it, even if it’s a boring average corporate job, and thus you’ll end up with no money at all to even survive, and that would still bother you despite the fact that more money isn’t the ultimate gateway to happiness and fulfillment. You can’t compete with people at something you can barely stand doing every day. They would always do better than you because they’re willing to put in more hours of work and practice daily, whereas you are just counting the hours and minutes until the work time is over, so that you start living. This isn’t just bad for your happiness, well-being, and fulfillment. This is also bad for your success, productivity, and financial freedom.

Following your passion is divine.

Only winning will shut down all the negative thinking.

You’re not thinking negative thoughts because you’re not positive enough. You’re like that because your mind is tired of being stuck with a loser like you. The only way out is to make your mind shut up by winning more.

The reason why you keep playing all the horrible history you’ve been through in your head over and over again is that your mind is telling you that you’re responsible for us being miserable like this from the start. Your mind is not blaming others for your incompetence or failure, because if it were, it would’ve sympathized with you and deployed compassion toward you, instead of attacking you and criticizing you in the form of making you replay how much others, the government, the economy, the circumstances, or fate have all conspired against you to bring you down, torture you, and make your life a living hell since the moment you were born.

Do not fight this battle. Do not try to convince your mind that you’re already doing your best to fix everything and protect yourself more. It will not listen to you. The only way to shut down this self loathing battle fought by your own mind against you is to win more and win enough times until your mind feels there’s no need to attack you over your past failures, suffering, shortcomings, mistakes, or misery any further. In other words prove to your mind that you were capable of making a positive difference in your life, instead of telling it I’m doing my best or I’m a victim, it wasn’t my fault.1d

Being too tired to do anything productive in perpetuity isn’t going to get you anywhere.

Rest is not a crime. But are you generally wasting more time than normal doing useless stuff, but still complaining that the progress is too small? Or are you working like a pro every minute of every day, so that when you take some time to rest or sleep longer, this wouldn’t slow your progress down?
