Unlike other platforms, you don’t have to decrease your posting frequency on YouTube in order to avoid people unsubscribing from your channel.

There’s no such thing as too much posting on YouTube. This is an issue that exists only on lesser platforms.

The algorithm is gonna show your audience an old video of yours anyway after they finish your recent one. If you happened to have posted 6 more times during the same day for example, all that is going to happen is that the algorithm is going to suggest for you to watch one of those new ones instead in your home feed or suggested menu. It was going to show them an old video anyway had you not posted more than once today.

I understand that you might have several reasons for why you don’t want to post more than once a day or week on YouTube. Just make sure the belief that this will spam your audience into unsubscribing from your channel is not one of them.

You will also not get slower growth or less engagement because of posting more on YouTube. They have no shame pushing out videos of yours from four years ago.
