Only put what can you attack immediately or take action upon right away in your notebooks of daily to-do lists.
Planning for the far future should be broadly and generally planned in detail in notebooks specific for long-term goal setting. But when it comes to action taking steps that you should follow right now, don’t try to figure out what you’ll be doing on a specific date next month. Just tell yourself what are the next actions only in your high turnover tasks planning notes. Focus on these only because what you should do after that should be inspired by how much you’ve grown from your recent success.
For example, tell yourself what you can do today only in your to-do lists, instead of laying down every single step that you should take this month, to get closer to your long-term goals.
The reward that you get from your recent accomplishments should highly influence your decisions when it comes to day to day tasks planning.
