Self-esteem is everything.

Whatever the self means in psychology, when you have low self-esteem, that self collapses on its own every few minutes all day long.

Collapse is the most accurate word that describes it. After that collapse, you cease to exist, and then you have to chase anything that can give you a little bit of dopamine to be able to reach minimal level of functioning.

Don’t become like those who think psychology is wrongly consumed by the importance of self-esteem because they are far leftist snowflakes somehow. They are right about self-esteem.

And it is not synonymous with self-confidence, arrogance, or being selfish or self-absorbed. It’s the further step of there’s nothing wrong with you, which is the core of embracing all your parts without disowning any of them. It’s even better because instead of eliminating the negative, you establish the positive. You establish that you are good, perhaps even great. Instead of understanding that there’s nothing wrong with you only, it means everything is right with you, and is more than enough.

The self, whatever the self means in psychology, is important.

Self-esteem is important. Whomever tells you otherwise does not know what they’re talking about.

Work on your self-esteem. You are nothing without it.

What it means when they say narcissists are all about themselves.

It’s all about them when it comes to a narcissist doesn’t mean that you are one if you focused on yourself only for a little while or a certain period of your life to get through a hurdle or get something done. It’s about the fact that everything has to be about them, and they have to be the only center of attention, even if the thing is totally unrelated to them or is totally about other people. Even if the thing has nothing to do with them, they somehow manage to take the attention off of you and redirect it towards themselves, even if the subject matter itself is of no concern to them. For example, your birthday has to somehow be all about them, and you shall be forgotten all day long during it, like it doesn’t matter. They are more important. It has to be about them somehow, and they have to tell you how hard life is and always has been for them, or that they never got a chance to celebrate their own birthday their whole life.

Do it, before you write down your goals.

Take action in the new direction you wanna venture toward, to anchor yourself to that new direction, instead of waiting for it to become a habit.

This is better than planning for it down because it still means you’ve never made any progress towards it or tasted how it will feel like in reality, in practice, when you actually accomplish it.

The very first step towards change in your life is to do something, anything, in that new direction you are trying to bring positive change to, as opposed to writing down a plan for it, or trying to develop a habit of doing that new thing gradually and slowly over a prolonged period of time. Just take action in the new direction, and it doesn’t have to be massive action. It just has to qualify as an achievement in and of itself.

Sometimes too much rest leads to a decline in ability.

You will never gain back your abilities or improve them by resting more or doing less. You will only be able to do so if you accomplish more, and then rest more. Rest without accomplishment leads to a decline in ability. Rest after massive accomplishment leads to evolution.

You don’t need to work smarter. You need to become smarter.

The real reason why you’re failing in life, no matter what you do or how hard you try, despite doing everything right.

The only strategy that is going to make you succeed is becoming more intelligent, or becoming as highly intelligent as you could ever be. In other words, reach your full potential and beyond, when it comes to your intelligence. If your intelligence is not enough, you need to either improve or increase it, or stop trying to succeed or no longer be a failure. There is no workaround. There is no strategy or method in existence that can make up for not having enough intelligence to succeed in whatever challenging thing you’re trying to succeed in. None. You will be doing everything right and more, but you will fail miserably for years, because you either have intelligence but you’re not using it, because the strategy does not say so, or you will fail miserably for years or even decades despite doing everything right and more, because you don’t have what it takes. You don’t have enough intelligence, or you’re not smart enough. You’re not intelligent enough, at least enough to succeed in this thing that you’re trying to succeed in.

You still need to have a plan. You still need to figure out a strategy. You still need to put in the work. There is a method when it comes to success. But it will all not work, if you’re not smart enough.

Go as fast as you can.

Can you do it faster? Then what are you waiting for!

You weren’t fast enough all those years because you weren’t intentionally trying to go as fast as you can while doing whatever that you’re doing.

You cannot reach your maximum or peak speed without intentionally and consciously wanting to do so. Otherwise, you will do the thing as slowly as possible, to conserve energy.

You have to aim for going as fast as you can, and using all your powers, abilities, and full potential, or else you’ll always do everything as slow as possible with the bare minimum usage, utilization, and deployment of your powers, abilities, intelligence, skills, knowledge, experience, and potential.
