Sometimes all you need to do to get more done is to not increase your energy levels, but to make what you’re trying to accomplish take less energy than normal.

What’s the minimum that I can do to get the same task done. Do that.

What’s the bare minimal amount of steps that I can take to get the same task done or outcome achieved. Try to stick to that without unnecessarily increasing the amount of steps taken from start to finish by any means necessary.

When you do so, your reluctance to go for getting such type of tasks done will dramatically diminish.

A huge amount of unnecessary steps gets registered or translated into your brain as overwhelm, even if each of those steps is very easy when done alone.

Everybody tells you to get your energy to peak levels before attempting to go for a huge task or thing you want to do or accomplish at any given day.

No one tells you that the problem with your procrastination is sometimes not your energy levels, but how energy demanding and consuming the task or thing you’re attempting to do or accomplish is, and that even if you have mountains of endless energy, it will still feel overwhelming because of the nature of the task or thing you’re trying to accomplish in and of itself.

The solution in this case might be something outside of the realm of how to have, gain, or generate more energy, but to make the task or thing you’re trying to accomplish take less energy, by any means necessary.

Make sure nothing stops you from becoming who you are meant to be, even under unlivable circumstances, or even if you are still trapped in an unlivable situation, or environment.

It will always feel like a total waste of time, until you manage to escape, save yourself, and fix your life for good.

It might seem that no matter what you do today, the day will still be totally wasted.

So you think trying to do anything today won’t matter, because nothing you can do today will make it not be totally wasted.

You didn’t get anything done at all, or you weren’t able to move the needle forward at all, and that time will definitely be wasted against your will no matter what you do or how hard you try, because of the nature of your situation, your circumstances, your unlivable environment, or because you’re stuck somehow with currently no way out.

And that might be true. It might not be just a feeling. As long as you are stuck in a toxic environment or situation, or trapped under unlivable circumstances, you will always feel like your life is being wasted in front of your very own eyes, and there’s nothing that you can do about it or to make it stop.

But this is how you get out of such situations. You keep going even when it doesn’t look like you’re making a difference or you’ll ever be able to get out someday, until you do.

Again, it will never feel like you’re making progress towards saving yourself and setting yourself free, until you are out of such toxic, abusive, unfair, or unlivable circumstances, situation, or environment, no matter what. You cannot feel rewarded when you’re in survival mode all the time.

You cannot feel like you did something amazing today when you know you are still trapped where there are people or things that can ruin your happiness in an instant. How can you enjoy your success and achievement when your very own existence is under threat all the time?

Nevertheless, you have to keep going, no matter what, because the worst that could happen is having achieved nothing all your life until you managed to escape. Until you make it to safety.

You always say that it is not worth it anymore to try to save yourself, because a huge portion of your life has already been wasted, it seems like going through all this struggle to save the rest of it not worth it anymore.

And I’m not saying you’re wrong about this.

Make sure that does not happen.

Make sure you keep accomplishing groundbreaking stuff all the time, even before you escape.

And above all, make sure you save yourself, before it’s too late to be worth saving.

Why you feel exhausted all the time and what to do about it.

Completing something hugely rewarding when you have the energy on a consistent and regular basis allows you to avoid feeling tired all the time because it will make it okay for you to make small progress doing very easy and small stuff or tasks for the rest of the day without feeling like you are doing something wrong or not doing enough or that you’re wasting your time, because you’ve done something amazing at the beginning of the day or whenever you had good enough energy levels, and since you didn’t have to grind too hard all day long, you will not be depleted, drained, or exhausted every single day in order to keep making progress.

You have to understand that it is not just Dopamine or Serotonin. It is deserving the Dopamine or Serotonin. It is being allowed now to be flooded by Dopamine and Serotonin, because you have accomplished something amazing today or recently. It is Dopamine or Serotonin, when you feel and know you’ve done enough. It is about your most recent progress being good enough. It’s about achieving and accomplishing enough, and making enough progress, according to what truly counts as progress or accomplishment or achievement, according to your core values and what actually is important to you and matters to you, and makes you feel alive.

If you don’t meet that threshold, that minimum amount of progress, achievement, or accomplishment, you will suffer from starvation from reward, even if your body has and can produce an endless amount of Dopamine, Serotonin, and reward chemicals or material. Which means, even if you managed to obtain that Dopamine hit through natural sources like doing any pleasurable activity that you like or enjoy, this will not solve the problem or satisfy the hunger for achievement or reward.

You spend your whole day trying to meet that minimum threshold or amount of achievement and progress needed, by doing small stuff all day long.

This leads to insane levels of exhaustion all the time, because you’re working all the time, and you are still not satisfied. You are still not meeting or satisfying your needs for achievement, progress, accomplishment, and reward, enough.

So you keep working all the time, which leaves you depleted, drained, and exhausted all the time, even at the beginning of your day.

However, if you aim for accomplishing something massive in a certain duration of time that is way lesser than all day long, like something that takes a couple of hours only for example, you will find yourself way more satisfied, even if it was way harder to do. Even if it requires infinitely more energy and focus to accomplish this thing. The fulfillment and satisfaction that follows afterwards will make it okay for you to aim lower and only do small or easy tasks or things for the rest of the day, making the rest of the day easier for you, which will make you not end up being as exhausted, drained, or depleted at the end of the day, because the rest of the day after accomplishing that major huge thing or accomplishment was almost identical to pure rest or regeneration time, in terms of energy spending at least, or how hard, challenging, exhausting, or energy consuming or demanding it was.

Do something amazing, take the rest of the day off. It is easier that way, and more fulfilling and rewarding, even if the initial task or thing you did today was insanely hard and energy and focus demanding.

I’ve been doing everything right for decades and still I’m not seeing any difference or feeling any different.

I’ve been training for years and still I’m not improving at all no matter what I do or how hard I try.

The number one reason why you feel like you’re not improving despite years and years of constant heavy training on a regular basis is because you are unaware of your newfound powers. You have no idea how powerful you’ve become. You just train to improve. You never use what you’ve acquired through years and years of training. You have just become better at training, at improving yourself at a higher rate, without ever trying to become good at using what you’ve got or what you’ve acquired or gained after years of training, experience, and improvement. Whatever that you’ve learned and improved at and become better at, you’re not using it, because you have no idea it exists in the first place, because you, even you, cannot believe or imagine how powerful you’ve become after all this.

The biggest reason you believe that you shouldn’t do anything that you know is supposed to turn your life around or make you or your life better in any way there is, is because you think that you are actually not getting any benefits from what you’re doing, even though you are doing everything right.

Whatever development you’ve recently attained, you cannot have access to it unless you believe it exists. The upgrades are already installed. You are just using the old parts of you exclusively, or your old self only, out of habit.

You are still unaware of how powerful you’ve become.

And that my friend, is part of your limiting beliefs about yourself. Just as there could be a limiting belief that says I’m not good enough, there is a limiting belief that you have that says I can’t be that good. And so you remain as you are, after years and decades of training, treating yourself like you’re somewhat strong, but still starting out, and still have much to learn.

This is one of the main reasons why I made a distinction between the thinking hunger and the Self-improvement need and hunger of the genius human, even though you basically exercise both almost the same way and by doing virtually the same things.

“No more training do you require. Already know you, that which you need.” – Master Yoda

Your true limitation. Easy fatiguability.

Lack of mental fitness, endurance, health, strength, or brain-power. This is always confused with low energy, when in reality, both have nothing to do with each other.

The single most thing that is holding you back from your ultimate success and having the life that you truly want is easy fatigability.

Fix that, before you try to do anything else first.

Mental exercise, until you feel like you’re dying is the only answer. And you do that consistently over a prolonged period of time, until you feel a difference.

You can have an abundance of energy, endless energy, and all the energy in the world, but still experience mental fatigue easily and prematurely, and without even having done anything that justifies or explains that fatigue. This is like feeling extremely physically tired, but being unable to sleep.

To understand this, let’s say you have a ton of energy, but your brain is structurally physically weak, so the physical matter of your brain now can no longer run at maximum capacity, even if you feel you still have a lot of energy, and you don’t feel tired at all. An example for this is having an extremely short attention span, despite being well-rested, highly energetic, young and healthy, and not tired at all.

Another example for that is having information overload or a lot on your plate currently, to the extent that you feel like you don’t have the mental space to focus on anything, even though you’re still well-rested and not mentally or physically fatigued at all.

I know that exercise increases your energy levels, and so does sleep and meditation. Also a lot of other things can do so, not the least of which is coffee for example. But all this falls under the category of energy only. This is like talking about how to have more car fuel, as opposed to having a better or superior engine. You need to work on your engine, or else you’ll always overheat or fatigue easily, quickly, and prematurely, even if you have all the fuel in the world.
