Why the life of a true-bred writer sucks. Because everybody else can and will take a break all they want at some point, except us. We are never done. Our work is 24/7. Even if the book has already been published.

Why taking a break, just the decision of forbidding yourself from creating something new or writing, even if you have something to say or you’ve discovered something new, is bad.

In order to be able to think, whatever that thinking entails should not be forbidden.

If you discover something new but you’re not allowed to write it down in full detail, you risk holding it in your head for too long, which will occupy a great deal of your working or short-term memory, leading you to be unable to focus. This means that in the period of time that writing is forbidden – due to the fact that you’ve declared yourself to be in some kind of break from work – you will only clutter your mind and slow yourself down if you started thinking and getting ideas, because you never know when a brilliant idea might come to you. It could be at any moment. And then you’d have to write it down. You’d then have to work. Which means you’d have to terminate the day off, the time you’ve taken off of work, or the break from work. You will be forced to end the resting period of time or session. In this case you’ll have no choice but to prevent yourself from thinking altogether, rendering even basic functioning as a human being considerably challenging, if not impossible.

If you’re not allowed to write, you’d consequently be not allowed to think in the first place as well, because you’d either have no choice but to write, which is work, which means you’ll be no longer resting or taking a break from work, or you’d keep being in a state of chilling while not allowing yourself to write at all, making yourself unable or not allowed to think at all in the first place along the way. You will then get no ideas. You will then become unable to even learn anything new, lest you discover something or get some kind of brilliant idea worth sharing with the whole world during the process. Anything that leads to you getting new or interesting ideas worth creating a piece of content about, around, or because of it, or in order to discuss it in depth or in full detail, will also become forbidden along the way as a byproduct, whether you feel like it or not, whether you choose to or not. Whether you decided to fight back or not.

It’s okay to rest until fully recovered and until you’re ready for more work. It’s only not okay to take a break from writing altogether during which you are not allowed to write anything, lest you’d interrupt or pause your sacred break or resting session in order to write something down in full detail until you cover everything you wanted to say or everything you have to say. (Maximal level of writing, like full articles or book chapters, not just jotting some random thoughts or ideas down on a piece of paper to be dealt with some time later on when you have the chance).

You have to always have the option of discovering something new, or else you’d start convulsing.

You don’t have all the time in the world to build your identity, and if you don’t act soon enough, you will always identify as a loser. Don’t let that happen to you.

When you’re young you tend to think that you have limitless potential when it comes to your identity.

Why is your identity important?

Because it’s one of the ways that irreversibly anchors you to success.

I’m not talking about identifying as a doctor, a lawyer, or a graphic designer.

I’m talking about identifying as a skilled surgeon, a world-renowned lawyer, or a fabulous graphic designer.

The level. Not just the title. Not an entrepreneur. A successful entrepreneur.

Size matters.

So the point that I was trying to make here is: you don’t get that kind of identity through mindset, positive thinking, or motivational pep-talk you give yourself.

You detect that. Feel that. Realize that. It comes to you, as opposed to you shoving it down your throat with disregard to any evidence whatsoever.

This proof or evidence is amassed from scanning your previous accomplishments or past history. If you find nothing to back that up, you wouldn’t get the intended effect that I’m trying to make you reach through the natural route here. The unshakeable self-esteem. No hesitation. Facts. Not Feelings. Not due to banning negative thinking. Not wishful thinking.

The point is: you should make ample achievements to back up any claims you make to yourself concerning your identity, or how good you really are at what you think you can do.

Results matter. And they are everything. They are what anchors you to success. Results, not production capability. The product itself.

Do you understand?

You can be smart as hell. Better than virtually everybody else at a certain field, and yet your performance in it will always be laughable, if you are significantly behind them or way behind them when it comes to your achievements, position, rank, or the amount of great or positive results that you’ve accomplished so far in this field relatively to your age.

You can’t start from scratch when you’re old as fuck.

You have to start as early as possible, and accomplish as much as possible per unit time from a very young age, or else you’ll be left behind for good, with no turning back, with no way to catch up with everybody else in that field.

This is not pessimism. This is not negativity. This is a wake up call. Stop wasting your time. Your motivation to accomplish anything or feeling that you can do anything you aspire to do doesn’t last, even if you were immortal. It’s not related to aging. It’s related to not being brand new. Not being born yesterday. Not being level 1 anymore. It’s related to how long you’ve done nothing. It’s about how long you’ve reached nothing. It’s because you’ve achieved nothing for too long. It’s because you’ve reached nothing ever since you came to this world. You begin to settle for and adapt to mediocrity and that would be everything to you. You’ll no longer be ambitious, because you no longer can be.

This is an emergency.

Success is an emergency.

You have to get up on that train as early as possible before it leaves the station, or you’ll be stuck in no man’s land forever.

Build your identity. Achieve more. Achievement is one of the best ways to anchor you to success, because it transfers directly over time to your identity; the identity of how good you really are at what you claim or think you can do.

A huge ego is essential for being creative. Like it’s mutually exclusive to be creative and have a sense of inferiority, modesty, humbleness, or just a belief that you’re not very great.

Whenever you get ideas and start preventing yourself from writing them down or putting them in a piece of content, self-loathing is to be suspected as the major cause for this.

When you hate yourself, you would hate the idea of hearing yourself speak, even in written form, and not necessarily in audio or video form only.

Anything that comes out of your mouth, or your head, or your mind, will be considered to be a capital offense. A major crime against humanity. An abomination. Just shut the fuck up is the response you always get from yourself, even if you’ve never gotten such a response from hate comments or random people on the internet.

If you hate yourself, for whatever reason, the end stage or result would always be the same: nothing that you’d make or produce would not be hated. As long as what you’ve said is not a direct quoted statement from another person’s words, you’d hate it immediately, for no other reason than you being the source of that statement or those words. Even if the quality or level of greatness of what you’ve said is still epic in all those cases. Like Shakespeare level of beauty. You’d still hate it, just because you are the source of that creative piece of content. It came from you, and thus it should be hated. Unless you figure out a way to stop hating yourself, you can kiss being creative goodbye for good. It’s not gonna come back. You can’t create if you hate yourself. In any form. Not written, not audio, not video, not pictures, no nothing. The only reason we create stuff is because we think our thoughts are too good to be left undocumented, unrecorded, or without being stored, and preserved forever for everybody else to consume at will whenever they want for all time. We believe we’re too good to die. We believe we’re too good to not be noticed by the entire universe. We believe everything in us is epic in every way possible. So great. Even our thoughts and opinions about everything should be discussed and presented to the whole world to explore and consume forever. Everything about us is special, even our own thoughts. If you don’t love and worship yourself to that level, sorry, your mind is not gonna work. It’s not gonna even bother trying to think of something worth saying to or sharing with the whole world. Because you suck, so shut up already. Fuck Freud for making people think that ego is bad and evil. Or primitive. Fuck Freud for that. And everybody who followed in his fucking footsteps. You are infinitely important. You are more important than you could ever imagine or comprehend, because you’re brilliant. Not everybody is the same and you know it. Keep pleasing society and suppressing your own nature just to avoid bursting their bubble and hurting their feelings of inferiority and inadequacy. Keep downplaying how good you really are in the name of being politically correct. No one cares. And you will be nothing. They have tried to associate the mere feeling that you’re great or special in any way possible with pain or being evil, and they have parroted that in every fucking movie or story they ever made. The evil guys thought they were good, and the good guys thought they were nothing or nobodies. And good wins evil in the end. That in and of itself is an evil description of reality. That is evil propaganda. Indoctrination. Lack of coming up with reasons to justify hating the bad guys enough to make it okay to kill them at the end of the movie, without not just feeling bad about it, but all while making you derive pleasure and reward from killing bad guys in the end. You don’t have to reach peace. You have to kill them all. End stuff. As opposed to maintain stuff or make things better. This is how they appeal to the masses. This is how they get their attention and cheering. Let how awful society is sink in.

Never for a second doubt that everything around you in society has been perfectly engineered and designed to destroy intelligent people and successful people. Everything. Especially culture and moral codes. Add religion to this and the recipe for total disaster is complete. Religion itself is the embodiment of evil that makes people not resist its indoctrination through threats of violence and eternal damnation.

The point that I was trying to make earlier is, stop resisting every piece of advice you get that sounds good and you know deep down it works for reasons that only make sense in a deranged world like ours where religion is not considered by everyone to be pure evil. For reasons that come from ideologies, philosophies, and worldviews that consider every potentially good or beneficial piece of information to be bad or intrinsically harmful or evil because the bible says so, or because Karl Marx said so, or because Sigmund Freud said so, …etc. Many stuff that you were told that it is bad is actually not bad at all, and vice versa, including loving yourself, selfishness, self-care, prioritizing your own mental health and well-being, maintaining strict boundaries without making exceptions for any living thing whatsoever, eliminating the existence of anyone who brings negativity into your life even if occasionally, even if it is one or both of your parents, or your entire family, living alone, hating your mom and not wanting to see or talk to her forever again no matter what, having limitless ambition, loving money, wanting more money, wanting unprecedented success and fame, wanting to help other people just for the love of it, or just because this is your passion, without expecting anything in return from them in particular, not now, not later, not ever, valuing rest, sleeping until fully rested not until the alarm rings, sleeping for more than 8 hours if you want to, being unemployed, being an entrepreneur, sex between consenting adults, being a perfectionist and proud of it, without sacrificing productivity in the process, valuing happiness and well-being, even if at the expense of making more money, or any money at all, not giving a fuck about what society at large or anybody in particular thinks concerning whatever the fuck that you do or want to do with your life or time, or just not caring about anybody else’s opinion in general, not forcing yourself to do work that you hate just for the money, and be okay with staying that way all your life, and not just temporarily until you figure something out or until you get through these trying times, not hating your own thoughts, beliefs, and opinions or considering them to be things that don’t matter, not believing that you’re just another insignificant entity in a wide universe that should just seek pleasure, enjoy life, and make the most out of it while you still can because this is all there is to this life anyway, thinking that failure is an intrinsically and irredeemably bad thing that provides you with nothing positive at all no matter your perspective, unless you’re a fan of delusional thinking and placebo effect, and believe in the law of attraction or the power of prayer and positive thinking, …etc. And the list could go on forever. Countless stuff that is demonized by society and almost all cultures in this world, without there being anything wrong in any of them, while in most cases, they are entirely good in nature already, or they are purely positive things.

Many times the answer to becoming more creative isn’t to get yourself to write more, but to get yourself to hate yourself less.

The 2 minute rule, and how it impacts your productivity.

If it takes less than 2 minutes, do it right away.

If you’re not supposed to do it at all, it will drain you if you keep chasing stuff like this, it is totally unimportant or not a priority, it is useless, it’s a total waste of time, don’t do it, even if it takes less than 2 minutes.

If it’s a good idea and it needs to be done, and it takes less than two minutes (by a rough estimation, that is, about two minutes, give or take), then by all means, jump on it right away. Do it now. Immediately. Go for it. Attack it right away.

If it takes longer than two minutes, and you still want to do it, you either start doing it right away, or write it on a to-do list, to do it any time later on as you see fit, or schedule it in your calendar.

Which means, you don’t sit down and ask yourself what should I do today, and then start filling your to-do lists and calendars with sound suggestions, and then you start your day by addressing those tasks written.

You sit down, and ask yourself: what do I want to do now. According to the answer that comes or shows up to you, you will act. If it takes less than two minutes, you’ll address it or try to finish it right away. If it takes more than two minutes, you will then have to choose between either doing it right away, or writing it down in one of your to-do lists, so that you can do it any time later on as you see fit, as it suits you, or whenever you feel like it (sorry, Mel Robbins), or in one of your calendars to only do it at a specific time your judgement has deemed to be a good idea to take care of that matter during which.

Again, if you are a primitive person, all of the above would seem like complicating things and would feel like too much. You have to improve yourself as a human being. You have to become smarter. You need to become more ambitious. You must become better. There’s no bypassing that. Stop wanting everybody else to accept you more by being less of who you really are, by being less intelligent than you actually are or need to be. Don’t water yourself down to please other people or make them love or accept you more. Don’t dumb yourself down to fit in.

Not every task should be put in a to-do list. Not everything needs to be scheduled. You are allowed to do stuff right away without telling yourself this is what I am going to do now through writing down the task in some form of to-do list, planning notes, or a calendar. You can do stuff directly, without writing them down first or at all. You are your own leader. Do what you want, the way you want to.

Not everything you tell yourself through urges or impulses is worth listening to. It is up to you to decide whether or not an impulse or an urge is a good idea to follow at the moment.

Listen to yourself, but don’t be a slave to yourself. Don’t chase whatever yourself tells you, even the stuff that you highly disagree with.

You do stuff habitually, directly, or because it’s planned in a written form somewhere like a to-do list, calendar, or planning notes.

Please, I urge you not to end up doing stuff habitually only, or because it’s been written or planned only. You can do stuff directly too. Don’t deprive yourself from that luxury or option. It is what true freedom really means. To-do lists and calendars are just there to help you finish things faster, not restrict you from doing anything you want whenever you want. Not to restrict you from doing anything unless it’s written in either of them first. They are productivity tools, not productivity gulags.

Remember: The ultimate goal is to be free to run around all day. Free to do it all my way.

I don’t compete with women. I only try to impress them, because after all, all they need from me is being competent. In other words: being better in every way as a human being. (Not better than them, necessarily, but better in general or as a person).

The only thing – or the most important thing – that women need from you is competence.

Is being competent. Nothing else. They are like a very accurate test for that. And they love to keep testing that over and over again forever. It is like the purpose of the relationship is to keep testing you and assessing how competent you really are. The entirety of the relationship is built upon the fact that you’re competent enough for her to bother sleeping with you or paying any attention to you. I’m telling you this just so you know that whenever the relationship starts to fail, it’s because she’s sensing that either your competence level upon which she decided to pursue a serious relationship with you turned out to be fake, or started to change or not be enough for her to not perceive her being in a relationship with you as a total waste of her time, energy, beauty, youth, life, and sexual attractiveness. In short, she left you, or fantasized about leaving you, because you suck as a human being, on all levels, not because you made a mistake, you weren’t handsome or cool enough, you were broke, you got fired from your job, you sold your exotic car because you needed the money, you didn’t buy her flowers, chocolates, or a gift on valentine’s day, or you started to treat her in a bad way. She can take anything from you. She is a well of giving, and support. She thrives upon that. She would give it for free, only if you’ve successfully demonstrated that you’re competent enough every step of the way; a man worthy of her.

Please don’t consider my statement here to be sexist. I firmly believe in equality between men and women. I strongly believe in gender equality and the equality between the sexes in every way. I am not trying to describe women as being lesser beings or say that they lack anything. I am not saying that women just sit back among the audience to cheer men and just provide support, while men build, and do all the work, achievement, winning, and serious stuff. I believe that women should work, and be financially independent from men. And I also believe that women should always try to work, have a career, and pursue ambitious goals and aspirations, even without them needing the money, or not even for financial motivations, but just for the fulfillment that they can get from exercising their rights to do what they want in society unchecked as full human beings, not something that is just present to help men do all the fun stuff and accomplish great things. Again this isn’t about undermining women in any way possible. I urge you to reconsider if you thought that this is my intent from discussing such topics, or that this accurately describes how I generally view women to be like. This is just an observation of the fact that women don’t want us men to be better than them or to compete with them and be more successful than them at anything. You don’t have to be richer than the woman to impress her. You just have to not be a loser yourself. Genuine competence is all it takes to impress the woman and make her regard you as super man. You don’t have to beat her in anything thinking that this will make her succumb to your will and submit to you as a superior person. You don’t have to make her feel that you’re physically stronger than her. She doesn’t want any of that, and she will be repelled by you if you attempt to do any of that, because it then means that you’re weak enough to feel insecure about yourself and how good you really are to the extent that you had no choice but to compete with her as if you’re rivals, not partners or people who love each other and should work together to make everything better. The moment you sink to the level of trying to prove to her that you’re better than her – or infinitely worse, better than her own kids – at anything there is, she will instantly dismiss you as incompetent, because if you were man enough you’d be focused on what makes her happier, better, stronger, more successful, healthier, younger, and more beautiful. The moment you try to compete with her is the moment she detects that you suck as a human being because you’re not man enough to gain infinite pleasure from pandering to whatever that makes her feel good at that moment, including wanting what’s best for her, not what’s best for you. We view women as creatures that are destined for sacrifice when all they want is to test whether or not men are willing to sacrifice anything just to ensure that she is doing better in life. She wants you to not have a problem with putting how she feels ahead of anything. Then she’d leave you and not push you to actually make the sacrifice. Just showing the willingness to do so because you love her so much and she’s not just an object for pleasure to you that you’d toss away whenever it becomes annoying. Which brings us to the final lesson here: don’t enter a relationship with a woman unless you are willing to grant her that level of importance, because if you can’t, your life will be hell, and it would be your sole responsibility, all because you didn’t pick a woman that you really loved enough, to not consider what’s best for her to be only an unnecessary luxury that you don’t care about, because that my friend, would be the ultimate exposure of how incompetent you really are, or how much you really don’t love her, and in both cases, the woman would have divorced you in her mind long ago.

List of ways through which you can make money as an entrepreneur with a personal brand (Not necessarily online) 2.

Ad revenue or sponsorship revenue of podcast episode if you’re running a podcast on Apple Podcasts or Spotify’s Anchor.

Sponsorship revenue on your YouTube videos.

Note that Sponsorship is not the same as affiliate marketing. In the latter you only get money if you sell. The former lets you earn money just by making an advertisement of their product or service through your channel or during your videos or podcast episode. It’s like running a commercial. Even if you didn’t sell anything, you still make money because you ran ads against their products or services on your platform to your audience. Exposure matters, and that’s why they love paying you, because you’re raising awareness for their product or service by just talking about their thing in front of new people.
