The right wing is not entirely better than the left wing. It’s just that this time the entirety of the right wing is condemning the atrocities committed by the far left whilst the center and the center left are both pandering to the radical leftists just to get their votes.

Because republicans don’t want anything new. They want the status quo. The same could be said about moderate and centrist democrats. The only passionate group is the far left. Too bad they are only passionate about the wrong things.

Also republicans care about their children and relationship with God only. As long as these two are fine, they don’t care about what happens in the crazy world out there.

This is nihilism. Ironically enough, it’s not exclusively found amongst proponents of radical leftist ideologies. On the left, nihilistic worldviews and thinking leads them to not care about anything to the extent that they passionately want to destroy everything.

On the right, nihilism leads to indifference when all that happens because the first life doesn’t matter and Jesus is in control and God has a plan and they’ll always transfer to a better place in heaven. Both are intrinsically harmful modes and ways of thinking.

Both are anti American values. America was not founded on conservatism or traditionalism. It was founded on Liberalism. And it was not founded on Christianity. It was founded on secularism. The right to keep holding your regressive religious beliefs, to avoid tyranny.

Not because holding religious beliefs were considered to be better by any of the founding fathers.

The only reason the fundamentalist right wing is better is because currently they are not burning human civilization to the ground to create the perfect equity omelette like the far left.

If we want to see significant change in the perpetual fight between the far left and the mainstream right wing, we have to acknowledge that clinging to Christian values is far from what it means to be clinging to American values of freedom and democracy, if not the exact opposite.

It’s time to truly go back to valuing liberty, and freedom of speech and expression as the highest priority value of all time, not because this is what the Bible says, but because this is what we as humans have figured out to be the answer to all the insanity that exists in all anti-freedom worldviews there is, including religion.
