The second the creative impulse shows up, go create, like there’s no tomorrow.

When you get the creative impulse, follow it. When you get the creative desire, execute upon it. When you feel like you want to create something in particular, do it. You have to, and you have no choice.

The problem with you is that you want to be in control of your life, fully. And I understand that.

You escaped your boring day job that sucked the life out of you for that very same reason, control, over yourself, and over your life.

And I understand. I understand why you want that control. You want to have the freedom to do whatever you want, whenever you want to, as much as you want to, unopposed, unchecked, all you want.

That is beautiful. That is full and absolute time freedom. I love it, I understand it, I agree with it and with wanting and pursuing it, and I also want it for myself, for all time, for good, forever, because it is the literal definition of immortality, and it is one of my main core values and desires in this life.

There is no shame in that, and you’re not bad or wrong for wanting excessive control over your life. You’re not a control freak. You’re not obsessive. You’re not a perfectionist in a bad way.

This is your life, and you want what’s best for you, and this is simply the best for you, objectively speaking.

On that, we agree.

But the problem is, after you got that freedom, you are using it to crush your creative potential, abilities, and spirit.

You are using it to eliminate creativity out of your life, because it comes to you like an emergency, with extreme levels of urgency, and has to be acted upon right freaking now, the second it comes to you. The second the moment of inspiration and creativity comes to you and hits you, you have to act on it, you have to follow it, you have to succumb to it, and you have to create a full masterpiece.

You have to, not you want to.

And that makes you feel you’re not in control over your life. You are not in control of your time, your energy, your mind, your body, yourself, your schedule, or your life.

So you quit, to get everything under control again.

No wonder why you’re not as creative as you were when you were younger, or when you were still starting out.

Creativity does not respect your energy, your time, your financial or business success, or how much you have your life together. It does not care. And it shouldn’t care either.

Remember, you got your time and financial freedom for one reason, to not have to control yourself, stop complaining, or make a fuss, and then go do the thing you hate the most anyway, because you have no choice. You pursued time and financial freedom, for one reason. To no longer have to force yourself to do what you don’t want to do, because you have no choice. To no longer have to push yourself to do what you hate, or do something when you don’t feel like doing it right freaking now.

You did it, and you finally achieved and attained financial and total and full time freedom with full and total control over your time and life, to create space, for unchecked, unopposed, nonstop creativity. So that you can create whenever you want to, wherever you want to, as much as you want to, all the time, unchecked, and unopposed, without being distracted, slowed down, or sand-bagged by anything whatsoever, all you want, no matter what.

This is why you wanted freedom and control.

Do not crush your creativity. The second the creative impulse comes to you or hits you, act on it. Follow it to its completion. Go create, like there’s no tomorrow.

There’s no choice, when it comes to creativity.
