They don’t care.

They just want you to be rich. At least providing for yourself without asking them or anyone else for money.

Try to make yourself proud.

Perhaps they’ll come around some time in the future and accept you and become proud of you.

Perhaps they won’t.

Don’t let that change your actions.

Don’t let that affect the outcome.
