I have tried everything, and still nothing seems to be working.

The reason why you are failing in life or at anything, no matter what you do or how hard you try, is because success did not take place yet. It did not happen, and that’s why you’re failing. Not that there’s something wrong with you, or your approach, method, formula, or strategy. You just need to succeed. Nothing will ever work, until you succeed, no matter what. Your obsession with modifying your approach and fixing what you think you did wrong or has caused your failure, is why you’re failing. Your obsession with getting it right this time, when it comes to how to succeed, your approach, or strategy, is why you will never succeed. The only formula for success that works is succeeding. Is reaching your goals, and making it happen. The only strategy for success that always works, is success. Anything else is just noise.

There’s no formula for success. There’s only, success. If you’ve tried everything, and still didn’t get any results, it’s not because nothing works. It’s because you didn’t succeed. It’s because you haven’t attained success, yet. It’s because you didn’t make it this time. Only getting to your objective, makes a difference.

Only the outcome, makes you successful.

There’s no formula for success. There are only solutions to current problems, struggles, and needs. There are only things that make a difference. Otherwise, nothing whatsoever will ever change. No matter what you do, or how hard you try, even if you did everything right.

You still didn’t attain or reach the intended outcome. That’s why you failed. It has nothing to do with your strategy, or what you did in order to get there. It has nothing to do with the formula or method that you chose to follow or implement, in order to succeed.

It just did not happen.

Then what should we do about it? Give up because nothing ever works?

No. The solution is to make it happen, by any means necessary.

All your life you’ve been in a cage, Padawan. When you are ready, break free. – Darth Malgus

It’s not winning that you’re supposed to chase. It’s absolute ownage, 1 v 9, on a new carry hero in DotA 2.

Aim for attaining absolute mastery, on a new hero, not winning, and all your MMR pressure problems will be solved. You’ve done it before on a certain hero, or a handful of heroes. But have you done that, on every single hero? That’s what’s keeping you up restless all night long, not MMR gain. Leave no hero behind. Master every single one of them, and then we can talk about MMR.

Stop chasing the high of MMR, or winning in general.

It does not lead to anything permanent.

Only mastering a new carry hero, and learning how to own with that hero, in a way that makes you look and say, I amaze myself, truly matters.

This is why you don’t gain MMR. You’re autopilotting on your single main hero, or 3 heroes, and you’re BORED. So you don’t perform at your best. And that’s why you lose.

Wondering when will you ever play on that hero 1 v 9 easy and shred your enemies to pieces like you used to. Why isn’t it happening again. What’s wrong with me.

Nothing.

You already proved your point. You already surpassed Yatoro on that hero in every way imaginable.

You don’t want to repeat that ad infinitum, until you hit 17k MMR, or high immortal.

You want to transfer that power, that mastery, to other heroes.

You feel like you’re disowning yourself when you do.

Like you decided, if you can’t beat them, then it’s better to join them.

But the only time you feel something new has finally happened, is when you realize you were stuck with the wrong heroes all your life, for when you have tried the new hero, you have felt more powerful than you’ve ever been before.

That is the purpose of life. That is, DotA.
