Burnout is not the enemy. Lack of accomplishment is.

You can’t have more energy by going conservative about it and spending less energy. You will end up getting exhausted prematurely, and you will find yourself in a perpetual state of fatigue and exhaustion the more you do less. You will only have enough energy to avoid feeling tired all the time through having enough reward, Dopamine, and Serotonin in your body, mind, or system. And that can never take place without you accomplishing more, until it starts to feel good again.

You wouldn’t be able to move without enough reward or Dopamine and Serotonin.

If you are low on reward, Dopamine, or Serotonin, you will spend more energy to do the same thing.

This alone can make you feel exhausted all the time. You either dread doing anything, because no matter how small it is it will deplete you, or you do everything that needs to be done anyway, and you end up infinitely more exhausted than you could’ve ever been if you weren’t in that low energy state.

Again, things don’t need a certain specific and fixed amount of energy. You need energy to get things done. Things don’t take energy from you. Things don’t need energy from you to happen or get done. You need energy to be able to do things. So you saying you don’t have the energy that this thing needs is meaningless. Things don’t take a certain amount of energy from you when you do them. You spend energy to do what is necessary to be able to carry out whatever activities that are necessary to get this thing done or over with. If you have a lot of energy, the thing will take less energy to be accomplished. If you have less energy, the thing, the very same thing, whatever it is, will take a disproportionately higher amount of energy from you in order to be accomplished. If it takes the same amount of energy every single time no matter what, it would be as easy to do when you have one percent energy left for the day as when you are fully rested, charged, and have an abundance of endless energy at the moment.

It may even give you energy, if you had higher energy to begin with or at the start of carrying out that activity or doing the thing. If you have more energy, the thing might end up giving you even more energy rather than taking any energy from you, that is, the more energy you have before doing the thing, the higher the likelihood that the thing is going to increase your energy instead of decreasing your energy. Things don’t take energy from you. You spend energy to get your body and mind to do the steps that are necessary to get that thing done, whatever that thing is.

If you have more reward, Dopamine, or Serotonin in your system, you will be able to access all your abilities, skills, talents, and powers infinitely way more than in case you are low on reward, Dopamine, or Serotonin. In which case, the case where you are low on any of the above, you will need more energy to do any of the above. You will need a ton of endless energy to focus, and to access your higher powers and abilities. You will need ample energy just to get yourself moving. Just to get started. If you are high on any of the above, you will have access to all of the above mentioned abilities and powers to the extent that you will be almost needing to spend zero energy on accessing any of them; any of your powers and abilities. You will then be able to accomplish infinitely way more than in case you have low energy, motivation, reward, Dopamine, or Serotonin, because whatever that needs to be deployed and used by you to get anything done, will always be readily available, making everything infinitely easier to accomplish, because you’re almost spending zero energy in the process. You are not pushing yourself to do anything that needs to be done to reach the intended outcome. You can do stuff. You only need to be pointed in the right direction.

It makes sense after understanding all this to realize that you need to accomplish more, that is, do more, in order to have energy, and then you will be able to accomplish way more, by spending less energy on each activity, and thus avoiding fatigue and burnout altogether. You will end up being more exhausted by doing less. You will end up always way less exhausted by doing more. For a simple reason, you don’t spend energy on the thing. You spend energy to get your body to be able to do the thing. If that energy is already there in abundance, you will find yourself having to spend virtually no energy whatsoever on doing the same hard or challenging thing, no matter what that thing is. In addition, having more reward, Dopamine, or Serotonin in your system or mind and body will make accessing whatever that you need to use in order to get the thing done always possible or available, which will make everything less energy demanding in the first place, because you will have a greater capacity for doing and a much higher ability to do everything, no matter what it is. That is, having the ability to recruit, access, and use all your higher potential, powers, abilities, skills, talents, experience, and knowledge will make everything easier to get done, no matter how hard, complex, or challenging the thing that needs to get done is, because you will then have to spend infinitely less energy to be able to accomplish the thing or to get the thing done. If you’re smarter, it will be easier and less energy demanding for you, and thus you would be able to do more with less energy.

You don’t have a limited supply of energy that gets depleted the more you do things. You have a limited sense of accomplishment, because whatever it is that you manage to do every single day, you still feel like you’ve done nothing.

It’s not about how bad the thing is. It’s about who did it.

It’s not about how toxic the thing is. Where it’s coming from and who is doing it is all that matters. Don’t look at how manipulative, bad, or toxic the thing is or potentially could be. First, look who is doing it. In some cases, it might be done for real reasons that might justify doing them, no matter what.

Don’t look at how toxic the thing that the narcissist or toxic person is doing to you is. See who is doing it.

The same seemingly toxic thing when done by a normal person might have real reasons. Valid reasons for doing them.

The same amazing thing when done by a narcissist, sociopath, psychopath, or a toxic person will always be a horrible thing. It is meant to hurt you. It is meant to destroy you. It is meant to be used to manipulate you, gaslight you, deceive you, harm you, invalidate you, one way or the other somehow. And like Steve Jobs said, you can only connect the dots usually years later. It is safe to assume that even if it is the most beautiful act, behavior, or thing in the whole universe, you must assume that it is the most evil, harmful, toxic, hurtful, immoral, and bad thing that could ever exist in the whole universe or multiverse, until proved otherwise. It will be used against you at some point in the future, no doubt about that. Even if it’s the most beautiful thing in the whole universe.

Who is doing it, is all that matters.

It does not matter how good or bad the thing is. Where it’s coming from is what counts. Who’s committing the good or bad thing is all that counts. Who’s doing the thing is all that matters.

The same excuse given by a narcissist to get away with their evil deeds every single time could be used by a good person for valid, justified, and real reasons.

They were really stuck in traffic. It was their boss who is calling them late at night. They really had to go to the bathroom. They really are a victim and life has been unusually unfair to them. They really have extraordinary talent, skill, abilities, and intelligence, they just didn’t get a fair chance in life to make the most out of them. They really suffer because everybody else is an idiot. They really have it hard more than usual. They really are struggling so hard to get their life together, and have been trying to accomplish that objective for years, but still couldn’t do it, despite having tried everything. Every single excuse they gave you is real. They never tried to lie to you. You were just programmed to dismiss any of the above excuses as definite signs and symptoms of covert narcissism, so you never listened.

And that’s why they kept being stuck forever, despite being genius, despite asking for help. Despite doing everything right. Despite having what it takes. Despite being a real and genuine, victim.

If you don’t have faith in how solid and reliable your regenerative practices are, you will always be reluctant to do any challenging or difficult thing you have to do, even if you have all the necessity in the world to do it.

You will always be frugal and conservative when it comes to spending your energy to the extent that you feel like you are so limited in your capacity for moving forward as if you are an ant or something, if the only way you have to regenerate yourself or your energy is sleep.

The reason why you don’t do what could regenerate your energy is usually one of two things:

You don’t do anything with it once you have it, but instead, you keep doing the same things that you can do with way lesser energy and enthusiasm, and so your body goes like: it seems that there’s no reason for us to aim for giving you all that kind of energy in the first place, because you have clearly demonstrated through your past experience or history that you don’t need it or that you don’t need that amount of it anyway. Proof of that? You did things that can be done with zero energy all day long. You don’t appreciate our effort. The effort that we put into regenerating all that energy for you every single day. And so from now on, we’re just going to stop making that happen again. We’re going to stop producing that amount of energy from now on, because clearly you don’t seem to use it or need it at all in the first place.

And that’s why you feel old and tired all the time.

The second reason is that you don’t do anything to make those regenerative practices any less boring.

You don’t listen to music while meditating because you think it’ll distract you instead of making the session more immersive.

You don’t listen to or watch something when you work out. For some reason you have to concentrate on those lifts like it’s rocket science.

And you don’t have fun your way after accomplishing enough for today.

So you end up skipping on the entire regenerative practice altogether, day after day after day.

So you don’t have a method of gaining your energy back once you spend it.

So you end up never spending it.

Determine your core values and live in alignment and congruence with them by any means necessary, no matter the cost.

What you’re supposed to do is not what your circumstances force you to do. What you’re supposed to do is what your true and most authentic self and your core values say you should be doing instead.

Live according to your core values no matter what. Even if your circumstances are doing everything in their power to stop you from doing so. To stop you from living the kind of life you are meant to live, you truly desire, and you really deserve.

What you’re supposed to do is not what your circumstances dictate you should do every day.

What you’re supposed to do is what your most authentic self dictates you should do as much as possible on a regular basis.

Always stay true to your most authentic self.

Always follow your true calling.

Always do what you’re passionate about, and what you really want. What makes you feel alive again. What makes you feel you are really who you are, what makes you become your full and true self.

Always live up to your full potential.

Always do what makes you remain your highest self almost all of the time.

Live the kind of life that you truly want, not what others expect you to be, have, do, or be grateful for.

Live your life to the fullest.

There’s nothing wrong with you. Do what you really want.
