The problems of our society or world today, anything that we complain about, or anything that is bad in our society or world today cannot be attributed to abandoning religion or relying too heavily on our self rationality, mind, and reason. In case of rational secularism there is a chance of refining what we hold as true. We can figure out and get rid of bad ideas through conversation, honest discussion, and sincerely chasing what is not going to harm our society or what is going to benefit our society the most. We can genuinely pursue the truth without being afraid of upsetting any kind of authority. No one’s words, beliefs, ideas, views, or opinions are regarded as sacred, inerrant, or never wrong. No one’s words, beliefs, ideas, views, or opinions are claimed to have a degree or special place above everybody else’s because he or she is inspired by the all-knowing one and only true inerrant creator of the universe. If there is a bad idea, belief, view, opinion or any words about anything, we would be able to detect it in case of relying on our rationality and self reason, and we wouldn’t be not allowed to oppose it, detect it, or explain why it is wrong because it came from a source that we lack the qualifications, right, or permission to criticize, not follow, not believe, or not totally obey; that is, an untouchable source like a God.
