Exercise your mind before you attempt to exercise your body. Both are invaluable, but if you had to choose between the two, go for the mind workout first.

A quick mental workout may be all you need to kick start a good day. Begin by reading in a Novel or some articles online. Just read until you can no longer read more now or during this hour or session. Then switch to playing a few brain games like Lumosity …etc. Complete a few workouts or until you’ve reasonably exercised this way (playing brain games like Cognifit) today. Then jump to watching a few videos of subjects that are interesting to you, even if they don’t necessarily affect how well you perform at what you consider to be work. Then Jump to social media and start throwing your two cents on random posts that fall under the category of what you generally post about on the said social media platform. Do this on most social media platforms that you’re active on, Instagram included. Then go grab some coffee, and start thinking about physical exercise.

This is what sets you in mood for the day. At least that works for me.

As for the physical workouts, begin by doing biceps weight lifting. Make sure to include at least 10 sit-ups and 10 push-ups in the first workout of the day.

Then pick up the most difficult, challenging, and important or effective task of the day related to your success at your work life, and attack it immediately.

Notice that it’s not mandatory to execute the above habits daily in the aforementioned order. You can switch between different items on the list all you want, and you can adjust the order by which you approach these daily habits according to your mood or how you’re doing this day.
